Our values
TNT Kid’s Fitness & Gymnastics Academy is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization established in 2005  working toward understanding, accepting, and helping all children grow stronger with confidence.  As TNT strives to offer their uniqueness and quality of programming, our vision continues to be focused on each child and recognizing that all have abilities and disabilities.

TNT has served more than 2,400 children. All of them have individual aptitudes and abilities. Public School Records indicate that more than 1,200 children with physical or cognitive limitations live in our area. We take pride in our adaptive program— our program has increased 850% over the past year and we take pride in our trained and nurturing staff who knows how to customize activities so all children are participating and growing stronger.

TNT HELPING "OUR MILITARY KIDS"

TNT is honored to be able to help children access dollars from Our Military Kids Program so they can participate in one of our fitness programs.  Corporate and foundation partners have made it possible for parents in the Reserve or National Guard and have been placed on active duty and deployed or is recovering from an injury, eligible to apply for a grant.  To apply for a grant, click here.

TNT takes great pride is recognizing our military kids and thanks their parents for their service to our country.  Please feel free to contact Kim Pladson, Executive Director, for assistance or information: kimpladson@tntkidsfitness.com or 701-365-8868.

Meet Sabrina she is currently 2009 ND Tiny Supreme Beauty for Dream Girls USA.  Sabrina started at TNT in 2007 in a Parent Tot class.  She is currently enrolled in the Lightning Bolts for ages 4-6 years old.  Her mom says “She is going to TNT Fitness to learn gymnastics to use as her talent when she competes for National Little Miss in July.  The competition is in St. Louis, MO”.

“I want to thank you all of your staff for everything that you do for her and all the other children. I could not have picked a better place for her to do gymnastics!"

Sabrina is 4 years old and her dream is to be on the traveling TNT competitive team and one day become Miss America!  Best Wishes to Sabrina as she continues to follow her dreams!

A family making fitness a priority and finding Balance!

Kaelee was born with Short Bowel syndrome and was given about a 10% chance to living when she was born.  She sustained many surgeries and spent much of her first year of life in and out of the children’s hospital in Fargo.

Her parents were told she may be a child that will not have a lot energy and would be lucky if she could participate in phy-ed at school.

A family friend gave Kaelee a gymnastics leotard for Christmas when she was 4 yrs old.  She tried one session of gymnastics and loved it!  Kaelee was so happy and asked to go all the time.  Kaelee is now 11 years old and is a level 7 gymnast training 12+ hours a week year around at TNT.  She sees her doctor only once a year, no more special diet, and only takes daily vitamins.  Kaelee loves keeping active and training.  She would be at TNT 24/7 if she could!

Lauren participates in the Kid’s Fitness program.  Nate, TNT’s Fitness & Special Needs Director worked with Lauren and noticed her gradually gaining weight even though her fitness activity had been increased.  Nate communicated with her parents his concerns of her rapid weight gain and encouraged them to have it checked out.  She  was diagnosed with an under active thyroid.  She is now on her way to continuing her activities, keeping physically active and staying healthy!

Jaxon the littlest of them all!  He’s a typical busy little boy.  He participates in TNT’s recreational gymnastics. A Fitness and Education Based Learning Program for the beginning years!    He has fun as he works to gain balance, strength and flexibility, gross & fine motor skills, and social skills in a structured nurturing environment.

TNT continues to impact, educate, and improve the lives of today’s youth.  We believe working together will make our community stronger.  TNT is a place “Where Kids Are Always First”!
