kimpladson@tntkidsfitness.org Dear Friends, Our facility at 2800 Main Avenue in Fargo has been a prime location where we have experienced growth every year. Since 2006, over 4000 families including over 350 families that have children with special needs have participated in one of our programs. TNT is the only facility that exclusively works with ALL children to influence fitness and health initiatives into all of their programs! TNT continues to build community relationships and partnerships to uphold their work to making a difference in the lives of all children in our community. There is a huge void in understanding how physical activity plays a vital role in the development of any child or person. The health of our children depends on the surroundings that are provided for them. TNT is unique to our area by offering programs for children with many abilities and have them participating side-by-side in a facility that provides a safe and positive environment to help them reach their full potential. We are challenged to improve and directly address the growing health crisis of children through the management of physical activity and nutrition. In order to accomplish this, we must have a consistent message! Working together with parents, school districts, agencies, and other organizations will help expand and implement health initiatives for children that will create systemic changes but we need your help. Guiding children is essential to reversing the health epidemics our children are confronted with daily. Being “Active” and “Mindful Eating” are great places to start! I am privileged to be a part of an organization that makes strides to meeting the needs and can service all children. Our skilled staff is comprised of USA team, Physical Education & Adaptive Teachers, and Recreational gymnastics and fitness employees all professional and dedicated to the priorities that focus on health in all aspects. I embrace the very best possible standards for your children and sincerely thank you for the opportunity to serve you! In Health & Fitness, Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states. ~ Carol Welch |

Sue - Business Office business office@tntkidsfitness.org Sue was born and raised in Bismark but has lived in Moorhead since 1981. Sue received her BS degree in Administrative Management with a minor in Finance at MSU Moorhead. Working at TNT has brought me back into the gymnastics world, which was fun to see again. It makes me wish my kids were younger so that I could bring them to classes and birthday parties at TNT. I really enjoy working with & getting to know my co-worker, especially since I work alone at my other jobs. I am also a bookkeeper for Cormax Inc. & Kurtz Township. |

Whitney - Team Director/Head Coach Greetings! My name is Whitney, and I am a native of Wahpeton, ND where I was a gymnast at Three Rivers Gymnastics for 15 years. After high school, I studied Art at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, and fell in love with coaching gymnastics while working at Red River Valley Gymnastics there for 7 years. Gymnastics is my absolute favorite — I enjoy helping my athletes to realize their potential and reach their goals — watching them succeed is extremely rewarding. I enjoy traveling and love spending my summers coaching at camps and meeting other coaches and athletes from across the country. Aside from gymnastics, I enjoy reading, history, airplanes, photography, shopping (too much!), cooking and absolutely anything that involves being artsy or creative. |

Chloe - Girls Team Coach Hey everyone, my name is Chloe Shockman. I am 21 and a junior at NDSU. I've lived in Fargo my whole life except for the one year I attended St. Cloud State University. Gymnastics has been a part of my life since I was three years old, and it's probably safe to say it was one of the biggest parts of my life. Coaching is an awesome way to still be a part of that. When I'm not coaching I'm working at my two other jobs usually or at school. When I do get some free time I like to go out with my friends, read, and shop (if there's any money in my bank account). Though coaching can be stressful, it's probably one of the most rewarding jobs. When your daughters succeed, they make us coaches very proud. |

Kelly - Recreational Program Kelly hails from Dassel, Minnesota and is attending NDSU, majoring in Veterinary Technology with a minor in Equine Science. I really enjoy working with the kids here at TNT because of the opportunity I get to interact with them, give them a sense of accomplishment, and put a smile on their face with different variations of basic and intermediate gymnastics skills. I was a gymnast in high school and working here at TNT allows me to share my knowledge with aspiring little gymnasts. |
